Preston Shea is the Town Architect for Tollgate Village. His background and experience with traditional neighborhood developments make him ideal for his role with Tollgate.

Preston founded P. Shea/Design in May of 2006 and is involved with traditional neighborhood developments from North Carolina to Colorado. He is also the director of design for The Townes of North River in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. His firm focuses on three distinct areas; custom design, traditional neighborhood consulting, and stock design, geared towards builders and developers.

A graduate of the University of Memphis, Preston interned with the prestigious architecture firm of Looney Ricks Kiss (LRK). He then moved to Franklin, Tennessee to join Southern Land Company. With the company, Preston was integral in shaping the company's traditional neighborhood development architecture to reflect a more time-honored palate of form and detail. It was this work that lead to his position as director of design at Southern Land Company. Preston's background distinctly affords him and his firm the unique ability to craft homes and communities which are simultaneously beautiful and practical to build.
