| Larry McAlexander
Larry McAlexander began his career in building and development as a teenager, serving as project manager for three large neighborhood developments at the age of nineteen in his hometown of Holly Spring, Mississippi. Larry went on to create and develop commercial, residential and resort building projects throughout the South and Midwest in Tennessee, Virginia, Florida and Colorado.
An avid outdoorsman with his finger on the pulse of the commercial development field, Larry has been involved in numerous industrial and commercial building projects with his own construction company, Southwide Construction, Inc. that he founded in 1995. He has since started other companies, including Heritage Developments, LLC.
For Tollgate Village, Larry is primarily involved in the development of more than 70 acres of commercial and retail space. He is most interested in attracting upscale establishments such as retail stores, cafes, restaurants, coffee shops, banks, and other service or product-oriented businesses that fit the traditional neighborhood development model. His vision for Tollgate Village is to create traditional commercial districts that uphold the smart and sustainable development principles of traditional neighborhood design.
